How do I Insert the Bobbin on the Expression 710?Updated 3 months ago

Your Pfaff Expression 710 Sewing Machine features an easy to use top-loading bobbin. Lets learn how to load your bobbin!

Prepare by making sure the needle is fully raised by turning the handwheel towards you and the machine is turned off before inserting or removing the bobbin. 

Prepare by switching OFF the Power Button

1. Remove the bobbin cover by sliding it towards you. 

2. Place the bobbin in the bobbin case with the logotype facing up and the thread unreeling from the left of the bobbin. The bobbin will then rotate counter-clockwise when you pull out the thread. 

3. Place your finger on the bobbin to keep it from turning as you pull the thread firmly to the right and then to the left into the tension spring (A) until it “clicks” into place. Continue threading around (B) and to the right of the thread cutter (C)

4. Slide on the bobbin cover. Pull the thread to the left to cut.
